Celeste Lozano
Celeste, 33 and recently turned vegetarian, grew up in the Philippines and moved to Texas in her teens and later to Milwaukee, WI working as an engineer and an advocate for environmental awareness. She started climbing in 2012 in the midst of trying out different sports from volleyball, running and adventure races, and snowboarding.
She committed to climbing, focusing on both sport and bouldering, and later discovered yoga as a supplement to the sport. She has competed at local gym climbing competitions in WI, CA, and TX. Growing up she had a heart condition, which restricted her from any rigorous physical activities. Years after her surgery and discovery of climbing, Celeste is motivated to push her limits and strive for healthy and environmental living.
